Support for Parents and Carers

Coffee Mornings

The Wellbeing Team in partnership with FODWIS, are delighted to announce we will be hosting several coffee mornings throughout the Summer term.

These will be informal meetings where parents can have an opportunity to have a coffee, biscuit and a chat with other parents. We have also managed to secure a number of guest speakers at the coffee mornings based on your most requested support.

  • The school nurse will be popping in on a number of Tuesday mornings to offer advice on diet, sleep, toileting and general Q&A medical needs.
  • Our school Play Therapist will be joining us for a session on managing emotions and challenging behaviours at home.
  • A representative from Bromley Y will be talking through how you can refer to their service for support at home and referrals for more complex SEMH needs.
  • MIND charity will also be visiting to discuss how their organisation can support adults and young people with their Mental Health Needs.
  • Miss Jeffery will be showing how strategies she uses in her ELSA sessions can be easily adapted at home to help with routines, boundaries and managing emotions.
  • Successful Mums group will also be coming in to support anyone who needs help returning to work whether that be CV advice, interview techniques or accessing job opportunities.
